if you were a barbecue sauce...
...what flava would you want to be?
Last night Josh, the chilis and I went to a yummy BBQ Pit restaurant. They have all these different types of bbq sauce. You know, like "rich and sassy" or "sweet and zesty". It got me thinking..."what flavor would I be if I were a barbecue sauce?"...or really, what flavor would I WANT to be? This is what I think.
Jessamyn as a barbecue sauce would be...."BOLD and BODACIOUS"
Bold as in daring and able to go for what I want...undeterred.
Bodacious as in FULL...extending my capacities to encompass ALL that I am and want to become...WHOLE...not lacking....you get the picture.
So....what about you? If you were a barbecue sauce...what would you be called? Chime in...I want to know a little something silly about you.
COME ON....I know you want to play. :)

Okay I'll play....
I would be a mild enough bbq sauce to mix with most recipes, have a slightly sweet taste but yet be robust enough to stand on my own for dippin!!!! :)
I'd be fiery hot, full of spit and vinegar ready to take on the world! :)
Jamie,
do you even know how to spit? :) You definitely got the fiery hot right!!!
I'd be strong & feisty with a unique flavor and "finger lickin good"! :)
I'd be hot and zesty with a staying power that remains with you long after the banquet!!
Good one Grandpa,
You are definitely a unique taste... one that is truly unforgetable!!!!! ")
I like this question a lot. As a bbq sauce I'd hope to be; brightly flavored, having varying depths of lightness, smoky and woody undertones, and very fragrant. Id never go bad on the shelf, and Id replenish my supply so Id never run low. Im sure Id be sold in mason jars too, with raphia bows.
Thanks for getting me thinking....
Summer
This is fun! I would be smooth, with a good shot of whiskey (like the Jack Daniels brand), smokey chipotle on the tongue and sweet enough to still make people smile.
I have been thinking about this, and it is a tough one! I think I would be sweet and smooth with an unexpected kick at the end! :)
Ok, my first reply! I think I'd have to be sweet and sassy. Sweet at first but sassy to give you something else to think about, and that little bit of something extra that surprises you.
