a heart found at the riverToday is my dad's 60th birthday. And so...there isn't much more to say than HAPPY BIRTHDAY to one of the most gentle, wise, loving, compassionate, trusting and authentic human beings to have ever touched the earth (or...at least my life)!

It's Dad.... I think that as the inner character of the child grows and develops into its potential, the more trusting and gentle the parent can be. You chillies have made my life very satisfying.
The picture of you by the ocean is beautiful dad!:) Were you satisfied when we left your hammer out and it was lost? HEE HEE! I agree dad, you are very gentle (accept for those spankings we got!!) and one of the wisest man I know! I love you with all my heart and couldn't asked to be raised by a better man! You have taught me so much and continue to do so every day! Words cannot express the gratitude I have for all you have shared with me and the comfort you have given me when times were hard or when I just needed a little extra push! Happy birthday!
What! Did Brittni say "spankings"? Did that kind, gentle man give spankings? How did his 5 daughters grow up to be kind, gentle, loving adults without going through years of therapy for violent, aggressive behavior?? I'm sooo confused!
