Maybe weekly recaps is the way things will happen around here. As much as I envision taking time at the end of each day to jot a few notes out...I don't seem to be creating the space to do that until I have an extra pair of hands and most of the primary stuff has been touched on, which usually works out to be on the weekends. It kind of cracks me up, really. I had pumped some milk for Kodiak in preparation of an evening I thought I would be getting away with a friend. It didn't end up happening, and so I had this bottle of milk in the fridge. The month started out with the Rundio's annual fishing trip to Greer. This year everything was quite different because of the fire that was raging throughout eastern Arizona and New jessamynhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11372786662654074732noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4419904509707514349.post-38859266745944203672011-07-09T16:16:00.000-07:002011-07-09T16:40:55.374-07:00May*May continued to be a busy month with a lot of family events and transformations. I know that some time was spent in reflection of Grandma Verner's beautiful life as family came into town to celebrate and honor her.
Kodiak began crawling around, so life changed in that way. Life was full with the same activities it was last month as far as what the kids were involved in.
We had a fun sleepover jessamynhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11372786662654074732noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4419904509707514349.post-1052257449819577112011-07-09T15:33:00.000-07:002011-07-09T16:16:23.095-07:00April*April was another busy month in the outdoors. We try to soak up as much as we can while we can endure it, because we know that when the mid-summer months roll in, we won't be able to enjoy the outdoor life in the same way. We took several trips down to Coon's Bluff where the kids could romp around in the river and climb rocks to the desire of their hearts. March was a fun-filled month and the weather was so perfect for enjoying as much time as we could outside, from what I remember. In fact, there were several evenings where the kids wanted to eat our dinner outside on that patio. I am an extremely neglectful blogger. I admit to this. It is very difficult to create the time to document our moments when life (and hands) are so very FULL. As time goes on, I realize how much I would like to have something to look back on every once in a while and also how much I would love a place to record all the jessamynhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11372786662654074732noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4419904509707514349.post-16040021527547854502011-02-14T08:05:00.000-08:002011-02-14T20:30:25.886-08:00year of the rabbit*On Sunday, we went to the Chinese Cultural Center to check out the festival they were holding in celebration of the Year of the Rabbit.
It was somewhat of a photographer's dream with all of the visual stimuli and the color!

i am choosing to look at that as a good sign that life is full, and we are busy living. ;)
i'll treat this post as an attempt to catch up with what we have done in the past week and a half.

i felt very weary and tired by friday evening and woke up saturday feeling totally sick. luckily, josh took the babe when we woke up early in the morning and let me sleep in. my body is in some serious need for rest. i am slowly catching up on the weekends as much as possible. this weekend was pretty slow, which was very healing. mmmmmmmm.

It just so happened that our computer was struck down with a nasty virus the day after I wrote my last post. So, it was a week of no computer. No e-mails. No facebook. No bloggity blogging. i've decided to give new life to this old blog.
i have been twirling around the idea of documenting our days through life learning for quite some time now. it is a HUGE part of where my energy lies and i would really love to be able to look back at these years and be able to *see* some of the growth through pictures and words. i am currently a very negligent blogger and so, the very idea of jessamynhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11372786662654074732noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4419904509707514349.post-86372301632578686542010-06-09T20:19:00.000-07:002010-06-09T20:20:54.477-07:00open furtherplease do join me in my new space

It is very apparent to me that writing is a very important outlet in which to better express myself. I'm sitting with a lot of awareness after going to the Mother's Plunge. I think it is because I practiced paying attention all day long. I came back to my breath, to my life, to the moment and remembered that there is nothing but love there waiting for me.

I come here with a myriad of thoughts hoping to escape. Each of them tugging at me for attention, hungry for release. My mind is both full and empty. My heart, the same.
This is the first time in quite a while where I have answered the call to write. I know little of what to actually create here in this moment, but I am here none the less and believe that in doing so, I am doing something.

It has been a while, yes?
I have been rather busy lately. With life. With photo sessions and editing. With kids and homeschooling. I haven't felt very present. It feels much more like I am on a bit of a swift ride, just barely managing to remember all the bits and pieces of what it takes to journey from here to there. I am stopping in these spaces that are full of questions.

I have been listening to their truth and seeing their pain.
I have also been met with some soft, magical comfort.
I am held.
I am loved.
I am heard.
This is inspiration to me right now.
This truth that, no matter what I may be coming up against, there is space held for me to process through it.
